The Rubber Grommet is a connecting strap or ring which is installed into a specific hollow section by using a thin material which has specially developed edge to maintain proper position of the grommet. This grommet consists of a liner that can be easily inserted into the hole and an adjustable cap for the ease of cable access into the hole. This rubber item is useful for protecting piercer product against abrasion or tear. It also prevents insulated cable, wire or lines that are passed through the penetrated object against abrasion. What is more, the grommet also comes in handy for safeguarding sharp edges of pierced object. A high strength material like rubber is used for the fabrication of the grommet. The special modling design of this product helps to maintain its proper position to absorb vibration generated from machinery. It is generally placed between tripod and microphone or between chassis and radio for maintaining mechanical floating condition between two objects for inhibiting microphonism.
